Why does glass art in general seem to have a distinct "front" and "back" side? Some say it is the nature of the medium, I would suggest it is the nature of the artist.
To me, all dimensional art should be enjoyable from any view, without regard for the medium used. That belief leads me to create glass work that offers only ‘fronts,’ no backs, regardless of technique used. Two excellent examples shown are “It’s Where I’ll be Me”, created using the stained glass method, and one of my multi-fired kiln pieces, “Wrestling with the Universe”.
